  SUHANI GOYAL (CLASS VI) LAKSHMIPAT SINGHANIA ACADEMY, KOLKATA KULIYA KI CHAAT  Kuliya ki chaat is a famous street food in old Delhi .This chaat was introduced by a man named Heera Lal about 150 years ago. It's very tasty and healthy too. This chaat constitutes of vegetables and fruits which contain vitamins and minerals, along with some spices. Black chana adds proteins to the dish. The dash of lemon juice adds vitamin C to the recipe. Kuliya ki chaat is a very refreshing, healthy and a mouth watering dish. Tomatoes are the major dietary source of the antioxidant lycopene, which has been linked to many health benefits, including reduced risk of heart disease and cancer. They are also a great source of vitamin C, potassium, folate, and vitamin K. Cucumbers are rich in electrolytes. Crispy wedges sauteed in ghee and then tossed in spices and tamarind chutney, that gets everyone smacking their lips. This Delhi style dish brings everyone together on Sunday evenings, from six year olds to dadajis and dadijis. Here's my version of the recipe, hope you savour it as much as I do!  Prep time: 10 mins Cook time: 15 mins  (Ingredients): 2 large sweet potatoes Salt – to taste Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp Onion Chopped – 2 tbsp Mint and coriander Chutney – 2 tbsp Lemon Juice – 1 tbs Oil – Tamarind Chutney- 1 tbsp Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp Chaat masala – 1 tbsp Curd – 4 tbsp Pomegranate seeds – 1/2 cup For the garnish: Chopped Red and Yellow Bell Peppers - 2-3 tbsp Chopped Corrainder Leaves - handful Non spicy bhujia- handful For the sauces: For the Hung Curd: 2½

 YASHIKA KHATRI (CLASS VI) QUEENS' COLLEGE, INDORE  Hello everyone! Today we will make Bhelpuri but before it what is bhelpuri? Bhelpuri is a savoury snack originating from India, and is also a type of chaat. It is made of puffed rice, vegetables and a tangy tamarind sauce, and has a crunchy texture. Bhel is often identified as a 'beach snack'. Lets learn how to make it ?   Ingredients are 1. onion 2. tomato 3. red chilli powder 4. salt to taste 5. sev 6. green chutney 7. red chutney 8. tomato ketchup 9. puffed rice 10. coriander 11. green chilli 12. tamarind pulp 13. lemon  Process to make it- Take a bowl and add all the ingredients except pfuffed rice and sev in the bowl and mix it well together after this add 1 cup of puffed rice and half cup of sev and mix well together . For Presentation- make a cone using a paper and add the bhel inside the cone and add chopped onion and tomato from the top and squeeze a lemon from the top and add coriander also and it is ready.

 GUNGUN KHANCHANDANI (CLASS VII) QUEENS' COLLEGE, INDORE It is the street food of Bangalore.  I have used onions that are rich in vitamins and minerals and carrot have vitamin A and Vitamin K. Mint and coriander chutney is rich in folic acid that is vitamin B9. I have used sweet chutney or tamarind chutney which is rich in carbohydrates and there is no fats. As we are in a corona world right now and everyone wants to boost their immunity so the ingredients I have used are immunity booster and very heathy for us.  1.To begin making the Boti Masala Chaat, cut the botis/ fryums into half horizontally, making sure you get boat shaped like botis. 2.In a mixing bowl combine, chopped onions and grated carrots, sweet chutney, mint coriander chutney, salt and mix well. Set aside. 3..Now fill each of those botis with the onion- carrot filling, sprinkle some red chilli powder and garnish the Boti Masala Chaat with puffed rice and sev. 4.Serve this Boti Masala Chaat Recipe - Fryums Chaat

  RITIKA BARALA (CLASS VII) LAKSHMIPAT SINGHANIA ACADEMY, BISSAU, CHURU   Dal mooth chaat is very famous in our region and made instantly.  Sprouts Chaat is a diet friendly recipe full of healthy proteins, carbs, vitamins and fiber.  Ingredients Bean sprouts: 1 cup Green Chilli: 1 (finely chopped) Red chilli powder: (to taste) Lemon: 1 (juiced) Kala namak: (Himalayan black salt) 1/2 Tsp Onion: 1 (finely chopped) Coriander leaves - 2 Tbsp (finely chopped) Tomato: 1(finely chopped)  Method: Step 1 First we take sprouted seeds in a bowl ,than we add finely chopped onion ,tomatoes and green chillies Step 2 Mix red chilli powder, black salt and lemon juice. Mix it well. Garnish the mixture with coriander leaves. Step 3 This is our dal mooth chaat which is ready to serve.
