Recipe :- To make Boti Masala Chaat :-
• Take a deep bowl.
• Add finely chopped onions.
• Add finely chopped tomato.
• Add finely chopped carrots.
• Add finely chopped coriander leaves.
• Add some Masala Boondi, Sev/Bhujia and some masala peanuts.
• Then we will sprinkle some chat masala to make it nuttier.
• Then we will sprinkle some salt [according to your taste] and some chili flakes.
• Then we will add some red chutney [ketchup] and some green chutney [coriander leaves sauce.
• And then mix it well.
• Take some botis [5 – 6] and then cut them from the middle to make a streamlined shape.
• After cutting the botis fill the half part of the botis with the prepared masala.
• Fill the botis with tangy masala and garnish it with some onions, tomato, carrots, and coriander leaves, masala Boondi, masala peanuts and Sev/Bhujia.
• After filling the half part of the botis with the masala and garnishing it, cover them with the half of the botis left.
• Serve the chaat immediately or else it will lose its crunch and became soggy.

If using Botis, then you just mix the spices and savor the chaat. There are those who say the word chaat originated from its literal meaning ‘to lick’. It was so delicious that people licked their fingers and the bowl made of peepal leaves, called donas, in which it is often served. Others think it originated from the term chatpati (tangy). However, no one truly knows the origin of the word.
