 Patachitra is a traditional form of painting of West Bengal and Odisha. The Bengal Patachitra is a traditional heritage of West Bengal.It depicts the folk art form of rural Bengal.The subject matter of Bengal Patachitra is mostly mythological and religious stories.It is known for its excellent play of colour. The world is our home.We need to heal mother Earth in order to make it a safe place for us to live in.Planting more and more trees, avoiding usage of plastics, keeping our environment clean will help to change the environment. Moreover, reducing the usage of cars will help bring down the carbon pollution level and that will surely make a huge difference. I have tried to bring the style of Bengal Patachitra in my drawing,While showing the above mentioned ways of healing the world.
