What is Jhal Muri ? 

Jhalmuri is a popular Bengali street snack, made of puffed rice and an assortment of spices, vegetables, chanachur / bhujia and mustard oil. This chaat (Indian Street Food), unlike most other chaat, is not deep-fried, making it much more nutritious and a healthier choice. It’s low in calorie, light, vegan and gluten free too and can be prepared in less than 10 minutes. Main 

Ingredients: 

 1 bowl of Puffed rice 

 1 medium sized potato boiled and peeled 

 ½ cup cucumber peeled and chopped 

 1 small onion finely chopped 

 ½ tb spoon rock salt 

 1 green chili 

 Ginger thinly sliced 

 1 small bowl of Chanachur/ bhujia 

 ½ tomato cut into pieces 

 Small pieces of coconut 

 Some chopped coriander leaves 

 Mustard oil 

 

How to make Jhal Muri? 

 Pour the puffed rice in a mixing bowl. 

 Gradually add other ingredients.(except salt , oil and coriander leaves) 

 Stir gently 

 Add some salt and mustard oil and mix it properly 

 Garnish it with coriander leaves  Serve it with Tea or Coffee
