K.V. (Class VI) 2ND PRIMARY SCHOOL MILEON - KALON NERON, KALA NERA, GREECE This is Argo ship, the ship which was used by Jason to go to Colchis and take the Golden Fleece. The myth comes from Greece and Jason was believed to be from our area! There is also a replica of the ship in the port of Volos (the big city near our village, Kala Nera)
G. S. (Class VI) 2ND PRIMARY SCHOOL MILEON - KALON NERON, KALA NERA, GREECE The most common street food in Greece is "Souvlaki". It is made from either pork or chicken meat. We eat on a spit or put it into a pita pie with sauce, tomato, lettuce and chips. It is considered not a very healthy dish but...it is really tasty! About 400 kcal. Enjoy!
